1) Margaret Sanger 1879-1966: was an American birth control activist, sex educator, writer and nurse. She popularized the term “birth control” and is widely regarded as a founder of the modern birth control movement. Sanger used her writings and speeches to promote her way of thinking. She was prosecuted for her book “Family Limitations” under the Comstock Act in 1914 and she fled to Britan until public opinion had quieted. In 1916 she opened the first birth control clinic in the United States and was promptly arrested after the police read her pamphlet on family planning because contraceptive use and abortions were illegal in America.
In 1921 she founded the American Birth Control League which evolved into the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. In 1929 she founded the National Committee on Federal Legislation for Birth Control which served as the focal point of her lobbying efforts to legalize contraception in the United States. “Roe V. Wade: In 1973 the Supreme Court ruled the Constitution of the United States generally protected the right to have an abortion. AND: “Dobbs V. Jackson Women’s Health Organization”: In June 2022 the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade and determined abortion was a State Government issue. Then the war between pro and no abortion really started.

In 1902 Margaret Louise Higgens married architect William Sanger and became Margaret Sanger and they moved to Hastings-on-Hudson a suburb about 20 miles from New York City. After their house burned she and her husband moved to Greenwich Village in 1911 where Sanger joined the Women’s Committee of the New York Socialist Party and she started writing sex education columns for the New York Call a socialist newspaper. In 1913 her column was censored by a post office official. A year later she launched The Woman Rebel, an eight page monthly newsletter advocating contraceptive use under the slogan “No gods, no masters,”. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 31 times between 1953 and 1963. In December 1966 Alaska Senator Ernest Gruening in an address to the president said Margaret Sanger was “a great woman, a courageous and indomitable person who lived to see one of the most remarkable revolutions of modern times—a revolution which her torch kindled.”
2) Kate Millett 1934-2017: was an American feminist, writer, educator, artist and activist. She is best known for her book Sexual Politics in which journalist Lisa Featherstone attributes the attainment of previously unimaginable “legal abortion, greater professional equality between the sexes, and sexual freedom” in part to Millett’s efforts. Millett came out as a lesbian in 1970 the year Sexual Politics was published but late in 1970 she came out as bisexual. She was influenced by Simone De Beauvoir.
3) Simone De Beauvoir 1908-1986: a French atheist, philosopher, bisexual, teacher, writer and lecturer. Some of her affairs with both sexes is given. She wrote The Second Sex which is considered a foundational work in the history of feminism and she advocated abortion.

There are many types of people who read these commentaries and articles and I am simply attempting to meet all needs and desires.
There appears to be 5 main questions concerning the controversy over chosen abortion and unchosen miscarriage. Is it alive? Is it human? Is abortion murder? Did I lose a fetus? Or did I lose a baby?
Of course these 5 questions engender a host of other questions but when they are answered the others are also answered. It is easier and safer to let God answer these questions by the KJV Bible scriptures given below. (Rev. 20:10-15) In the long run God’s opinion is the only one that counts anyway. Medical science has proved at conception the egg and the sperm unite and become one cell (zygote stage also known as a fertilized ovum). Nothing else is ever added except nutrients and oxygen. Everything is there and it is alive. It must be living because the cell contains the information to divide (after the two-week period of cell division the zygote becomes an embryo and in eight to ten weeks the embryo becomes a fetus) and keep dividing until the body is complete.
It will be shown below that the soul is there even if the cell has not divided enough for the body to have a brain with which that little one celled person can use to think. All this is obvious because babies exhibit emotions in the womb and as soon as a baby is born it exhibits emotions which demonstrate a personality, a mind, a self, a me, a person, a soul. (Luke 1:24-41) Elizabeth was six months pregnant and Mary’s pregnancy with Jesus was either in the zygote or very early embryo stage YET THERE WAS RECOGNITION! Think about it.
The Hebrew definitions will be given in the below scriptures so you can clearly understand your miscarried or aborted baby will be waiting in heaven for you if you make it your choice to go there. (V.16) “Thine eyes did see my substance (Strong’s #1564: a different Hebrew word: a wrapped and unformed mass, the embryo), yet being unperfect (not whole, not made) and in thy book all my members were written (Strong’s #3789 to record- zygote stage), which in continuance (forever, process of time) were fashioned (Strong’s #3335: to form, fashion, frame), when as yet there was none of them.” At the moment of conception God recognizes that one cell as a person, a self, a soul, a me. Regardless of the stage of development at death that beautiful baby’s soul goes back to God.
BECAUSE: (Phil. 3:20-21 esp. V.21 keywords: like unto his glorious body) Even if that one cell made by the uniting of the egg and sperm never divides that miscarried or aborted baby will receive a complete, glorified body just like that of Jesus because it is a person. God had its design recorded and nothing can change that and your baby will be the baby it was intended to be in heaven. (Matt. 17:1-2) The description of Jesus’ glorified body is recorded and His face shown as the sun but He was easily recognizable.

From an article from Human Life International, Fetal Pain Is a Reason To End Abortion: October 6, 2021:
As early as 1976 those performing abortions realized that the procedure is painful for the dying fetus. Abortionist John Szenes describes a preborn baby fighting for its life during a saline injection, saying; “All of a sudden one noticed at the time of the saline infusion there was a lot of activity in the uterus. That’s not fluid currents. That’s obviously the fetus distressed by swallowing the concentrated salt solution and kicking violently and that’s, to all intents and purposes, the death trauma.”
Saline solution used in this type of abortion causes intense pain when injected under the skin. This solution is injected into the fetus’ sac, burning her from the outside and poisoning her from the inside. During this slow death, which takes about two hours, she threshes around inside the womb. In spite of the fact that her heart is not physically touched by the solution, her heart rate more than doubles as a response to it.
She dies solely from the pain.
Today’s Abortions Are Just as Violent
Saline abortions fell out of use in the 1990s because of the risk to the mothers and the frequency of babies being born alive. At the time of Roe v. Wade, saline abortion was the most commonly used form of abortion after 16 weeks. But although the methods have changed, they are no less violent.
Former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino confirms this as he describes 1st trimester dilation and curettage abortions and 2nd trimester dilation and evacuation abortions—two common abortion procedures that tear babies limb from limb, finally crushing the skull so that it will fit through the cervix. According to Levatino; “You know you did it (the abortion) right if you crush down on the instrument and white material runs out of the cervix. That was the baby’s brains.”
Dr. Levatino also describes babies being deprived of shelter and nutrients inside the womb by abortion pills and being poisoned with a digoxin injection piercing the baby’s head or heart. This causes the baby’s death by cardiac arrest.
In Stenberg v. Carhart, the Supreme Court provides a gruesome description of a D&E abortion: “The fetus, in many cases, dies as a human adult or child would: it bleeds to death as it is torn apart limb by limb.”
The ugliness of abortion is not a foreign concept to anyone involved in it.
These inhumane death procedures would not be acceptable for any animal, yet they are used regularly to kill the most innocent and fragile human beings.
The pro-abortion movement denies that the fetus feels pain, but anyone who performs an abortion knows this is not true. The uncaring attitude of many abortionists is summed up in the words of Anne Marie Keary, the head of Britian’s National Abortion Campaign back in 1996: “Pain is a factor in life; could an element of pain be a justification for no more abortions? I don’t think so.”
Even Judge Anthony Kennedy, though he voted for a ban on partial-birth abortions, argued against the ban of very similar D&E abortions, saying that such a ban would “construct a substantial obstacle to the abortion right.”
To the pro-abortion movement, the right to abortion trumps every argument, even that of fetal pain.
When Does a Fetus Feel Pain?
An article from the Charolett Lozier Institute reviews a 2019 study entitled “Reconsidering Fetal Pain” published in the Journal of Medical Ethics. According to the organization:
A new study “Reconsidering Fetal Pain” confirms that babies in the womb can feel pain as early as 12 weeks old. Writing in Journal of Medical Ethics, Stuart W.G. Derbyshire and John C. Bockmann state: “Overall, the evidence, and a balanced reading of the evidence, points towards an immediate and unreflective pain experience mediated by the developing function of the nervous system as early as 12 weeks.”
Dr. David Prentice, research director and vice president of the Charolette Lozier Institute, responded to the study, saying:
Unborn babies feel pain. The science has clearly shown for years that unborn children can perceive pain in the womb, but this is a significant admission by doctors on both sides of the abortion debate, recognizing that even early in human development, the unborn can feel pain. And as the authors note, “the mere experience of pain … is morally significant.” Science again points to the humanity of the unborn.
Kanwaljeet Anand, professor of pediatrics, anesthesiology, and neurobiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, wrote an expert report on the subject of fetal pain in 2004 to assist the Supreme Court in its assessment of Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act. Dr. Anand’s report summarizes fetal pain receptor development:
4-6 weeks: The fetus’ cerebral cortex is formed, and she develops reflexes.
6-8 weeks: Brain waves can be recorded, and the nervous system starts to develop. The fetus’ lips become sensitive to the touch around seven weeks. By eight weeks she is moving around the uterus to make herself more comfortable. She begins to react to harmful stimuli.
10 weeks: Her whole body is sensitive to the touch. She can now swallow, squint, frown, pucker her brow, make a fist if her palm is touched. The most common form of abortion at this age are suction, and dilation, and curettage. Imagine what an uncomfortable, if not painful, this is on her sensitive little body.
11 weeks: The fetus will start to swallow more amniotic fluid if it is artificially sweetened and less if it is bitter. Saline is used after 16 weeks; yet at 11 weeks the fetus can respond to taste.
12 weeks: The fetus neurotransmitters can send pain signals to the brain. Her cerebral cortex is only about 30 to 40 percent developed, but her response is at least proportional to that amount, as confirmed by A. William Liley, the “Father of modern Fetology” and Mortimer Rosen, an American researcher.
13-17 weeks: The fetus’ “general sense organs” begin to differentiate into “free nerve terminations” responding to pain, temperature and chemicals, “lamellated corpuscles” responding to pointed pressure, “tactile corpuscles,” “neuromuscular spindles,” and “neurotendinous end organs” responding to light and pointed pressure. Her vocal cords and auditory sense are now present, and she may cry if air bubbles get into the uterus.
After 14 weeks: The fetus will cry, wiggle her body, or throw out her arms if her mother moves too suddenly or if she hears a loud noise. She must be sedated during surgery, just like any other patient. If she is irritated, her heartbeat will increase and she will move around, showing this sensation to be unpleasant.
At this point in her development, the fetus weighs only about two ounces and is about five inches long. She is small enough to fit in the palm of her mothers hand, yet she can react to outside stimuli just like a grown person can. And even with a developed response system, she can be legally killed by chemical burns, dismemberment, suffocation, starvation, and worse while her mother is convinced by her killers that there is no fetal pain.

An excruciating burning liquid is injected into the Mother’s womb. Mother? You’ve got to be kidding! The baby, depending on the degree of development shivers, shrinks away, writhes or wiggles to escape, her tiny mouth opens in soundless, shrieking screams, that become moans and finally gasps just before it dies and its beautiful little body is thrown into the medical waste cart. The cruel, cold forceps blindly grasp a body part and rips it off the tiny body and continues ripping until the tiny body is dead and the unwanted darling child’s body parts are thrown in the medical waste cart. OR: The fully formed child is birthed gently face down until the back of the head is visible. With cold, businesslike, professionalism the nurse hands the doctor a pair of clippers. The doctor quickly snips the spinal cord, the tiny body goes limp, turns grey with death, is extracted with warm hands operated by a cold heart and is carelessly thrown into the medical waste cart. A while later another medical professional wheels the cart away and dumps the sacrifice (medical waste) into the incinerator and burns it. And, unseen, Satan spiritually dances among them in fiendish glee over their unholy, wicked service to him!
In America these beautiful, beautiful darlings will never know a grieving Mother’s tender touch as its Mommy holds its tiny hand, kisses its greying face and whispers; “Please don’t go.” as her hot tears fall on its little body and her bursting heart and trembling lips bids her tiny darling a grieving, love soaked goodbye.

I read an internet news story about a female pastor who stated she had 2 abortions; she was glad and it did not bother her. But God said;

In the internet news you frequently read news stories about people being arrested for animal neglect and abuse because it is illegal. You can also frequently read stories about children being removed from the homes of people who neglect or abuse their children because that is also illegal. There are even stories where a disabled adult is removed from homes where they are neglected or abused because that is also illegal! Yet Americans, among others, mutilate, burn, torture and murder the most helpless and innocent members of humanity without shame and even brag and boast concerning their sexual freedom! (Prov. 6:16-19) (V.16) “These six things doth the Lord hate (Strong’s #8130: to hate personally X utterly): yea, seven are an abomination (Strong’s# 8441: something disgusting, an abhorrence, wickedness) unto him: (V.17) A proud look, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood, (V.18) An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, (V.19) A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” All this happens as they (2Ki. 17:16-17 (V.16) keywords: left the commandments of the Lord and served Baal (V.17) keywords: caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, Jer. 19:4-5 (V.4) keywords: have filled this place with the blood of innocents (V.5) keywords: to burn their sons (Strong’s #1121: son, grandson, child, member of a group) with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal and Prov. 6:16-19) (V.17 keywords: hands that shed innocent blood). And Satan, the devil, (2Cor. 4:4 & 11:13-15) the God of this world spiritually dances with fiendish glee from the beginning to the ending of the burnt sacrifice to him!

TWO GOD’S WAR FOR THE SOULS OF MANKIND, EVEN YOURS AND EVEN MINE
(Phil. 1:19) The Spirit of Christ, (Matt. 3:16) the Spirit of God, (Rom. 8:26-27) the Spirit, (John 14:26) the Comforter, (John 16:13) the Spirit of truth, (1Cor. 6:19) Holy Ghost and (Luke 11:13) the Holy Spirit are interchangeable names and are defined as (Psa. 78:41 keywords: Holy One) the Holy One which is an identity, so the Holy Spirit is God’s soul and the spirit is life because God is the essence of life (Gen.2:7) and the giver of life. I refer to Him as the Holy Spirit in these writings because it simplifies the writings for your understanding.

(Rom. 1:20) The Godhead (Supreme Divinity) is one who is composed of three who are totally and completely one in identity, thought, power, purpose and will. God’s presentation of Himself to man is (Gen. 1:1-31 & John 14:15-26) #1 God- spirit of life- the essence of life- life itself/Creator, (John 4:29-42) #2 Jesus-body/Saviour and (John 14:15-26 & Rom. 8:9) #3 Holy Spirit-God’s soul/Comforter. (Col. 2:8-9) In Jesus dwells all the Godhead bodily.
(Col. 1:13-17 esp. V.15) Jesus is the image (representation, resemblance) of the invisible God. When God said; (Gen. 1:26) “Let US make man (Strong’s #120: mankind) in OUR image, after OUR LIKENESS” God’s body, soul, and spirit was the US and man, made in God’s image, (1Thess. 5:23) is also body, soul and spirit. (Rev. 20:10-15 esp. V.10 keywords: shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever) Every person has eternal life! (Rev. 20:11-15 then 21:1-6) The only question is where will you be in eternity?
1) (1Cor. 2:9-13 esp. V.10) The Holy Spirit revealed (to disclose, to uncover) to the apostle Paul the deep things of God. (V.13) The Holy Spirit teaches and to do that the Holy Spirit must talk to the inward man, the soul. (John 16:7-13 esp. V.13 keyword: speak) The Holy Spirit speaks to the inward man, the soul (Strong’s #5590 & 4151thru 4154: self, individual personality, the me of each person)
2) (John 14:14-26 esp. V.17-20 esp. V.23 gives the identity of the Holy Spirit) Jesus said when the (V.26) Holy Spirit came He would teach His people and bring things to our remembrance. AND (Acts 2:1-41) When the Holy Spirit was given to the apostles (V.4) they spoke in other tongues (Strong’s #1100: a language naturally unacquired) as the Holy Spirit gave them utterance (Strong’s #669: to enunciate plainly) and (V.6-11) and people from 15 different nations or places heard the words in their native languages (V.41) then about 3,000 people were saved (salvation)! (John 14:1-26 esp. V.23, Acts 2:38, 1Cor. 9-16, and Eph. 1:10-14 & 2:1-22 esp. V.18-22) At salvation the Holy Spirit enters a person and tells them they are saved. It is a “I know so salvation” event.
I have experienced that salvation event and I have never felt so loved in my life and I knew my sins were gone. Please read the article About the Writer to the left of the commentary titles on this website and you will see what God, through the Holy Spirit, has done concerning the production of this website by an old, nearly illiterate hillbilly in the middle of Nowhere, KY. Some people have told me it made their hair stand up!
**(John 16:7-14 esp. V.8 keyword: reprove & V.13 keyword: speak then John 6:44 & 12:32 keyword: draw) the Spirit of truth speaks to the non-Christian people of the world and reproves them of their sin; see the one article commentary Breath Of Life and the Sin in Church commentary menu article Backsliding the Failure Principal to understand God’s efforts to save and keep His Christians. WHY? (1John 4:8 & 16) Because God is love. Pure Love, perfect love. As noted before we are made in the image of God and just like God we want someone to love us because of WHO we are and WHAT we are. Also the Holy Spirit speaks to God’s people by revelation of the truth of God’s word.**
(Acts 13:1-5) The Holy Spirit spoke and separated Saul (Saul was Paul’s Jewish name and that name is Paul in Greek) and Barnabas from the church at Antioch and sent them to Seleucia to preach. The Holy Spirit uses people’s mouths to speak through and their pens to write with.
**The un-holy spirit, Satan, the devil, a fallen angel also speaks to the inward man, the soul. The Beginning of Satan:**
(Ezek. 28:1-17) (V.1-10) The physical king of Tyrus and his coming punishment. (V.12-17) The spiritual king of Tyrus (V.13-17) had been in Eden and the scripture goes on to tell how beautiful he is and that he was (V.14) “the anointed (Strong’s #4473 from 4886: to rub with oil, to consecrate) cherub (Strong’s #3742: an angelic being) that covereth (Strong’s #5526: cover over, fence in, protect)”. (V.15) “Thou wast perfect (Strong’s #8549: without blemish, complete, undefiled, upright) in thy ways from the day thou wast created (Strong’s #1254: to create, shape, form, fashion), till iniquity (Strong’s #5766: perverseness, injustice, unrighteousness, wrong) was found in thee.”
(Rev. 12:9 explained below:) Angels have the right to choose to obey or disobey God just like humans! Obviously this perfect angel had been consecrated to protect Adam and Eve from eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 3:1-24) but he betrayed God, called God a liar and caused Eve and Adam to eat the forbidden fruit and to ignore the tree of life. (Rom. 8:7, 2Thess. 2:3 & 2Tim. 3:1-7) That is so like the people of today who refuse to call on Jesus for salvation. (Rev. 20:10-15) And by that they have chosen life in the lake of fire and brimstone to be with Satan, the devil and his demons and (V.14) death itself (V.10) in torment forever, ever on the agonizing cusp of death but cannot die to escape their awful agony. Yes, I’m trying to help you avoid that type of eternal destination because I love people; I love you!
(Isa. 14:12-14) The angel’s name, Lucifer, is revealed here and his five I wills are revealed so obviously the angel who disguised himself as a serpent to conquer Eve and Adam in Eden was named Lucifer (Strong’s #1966: brightness, shining one, the morning star) and after Lucifer’s rebellion in Eden his name was changed to (1Chron. 21:1) Satan (O.T. Hebrew: Strong’s #7854: adversary, arch enemy of good & N.T. Greek: Strong’s #4567: the devil, the accuser).
(Rev. 12:4 keywords: the third part then 7-9 esp. V.9 identifies the dragon as Satan the Devil) “There was war in heaven and Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.” (V.9) “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Do not forget that angels also have the freedom to choose what they will do or who they will serve just like every human being. AND:
(Matt. 25:1-46) The whole chapter is what Jesus said about the separation of people, the good from the bad, and their eternal destination BUT (V.41) Jesus said; “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Which is explained further in (Rev. 20:10-15 then 21-27 and 22:1-21 esp. V.18-19). Which God or god do you choose to be with in eternity???
(2Cor. 4:3-4) (V.3) “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. (Strong’s #622: to destroy, to put out of the way entirely, abolish, to put an end to:” (V.4) “In whom the god of this world hath blinded (Strong’s #5186: to obscure, to blunt the mental discernment, darken the mind) the minds of them which believe not (Strong’s #571: disbelieving, infidel, without trust in God), lest the light (Strong’s #5462: the act of enlightening) of the glorious (Strong’s #1391: dignity, honor, praise, worship, opinion, judgment) gospel (Strong’s book #2098- from 2097: to announce good news, show glad tidings) of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
And Satan, the devil, uses men’s mouth to speak with and their pens to write with. Check out the church of pot, the church of Satan, the Homosexual churches and etc. It is amazing that people will dedicate their lives to the fantasy of the devil’s churches!
Remember this because it is the WHY of salvation: (Gen. 1:26) You are made in God’s image. PROOF: Look within yourself and you will see that the only love that will satisfy you in this life is when someone loves you for who you are and what you are and that is exactly the way God is because God wants people to love Him for who He is and what He is.
You might think; “why should I make the first move by going to church?” Please consider this: God loves you so much he made all the first moves.
God made the first move when He sent His perfect Son, Jesus, to be the sacrifice to cleanse you of your sins. The innocent animals that bled to hide Adam and Eve’s sin was a prophesy of innocent Jesus’ shed blood. God made a second first move when He made a Bible containing His word available for you. Remember all the old Bible writers who died to write and protect God’s word? He made a third first move when he sent His Christians in person to you with His words, written, radio, TV, Church and etc. (John 6:44 & 12:32) God is making a fourth first move right in your soul by having His Holy Spirit draw you toward His salvation.
And then this: (John 5:30 & Rev. 20:10-15) God does not have a choice in the matter of who He sends to heaven or hell! When a person decides to accept salvation their name goes into the book of life. When judgment time comes God reads the names written in the book of life. If the name of the person standing before God is not in the book of life that person is cast into the fire (Rev. 20:10 & 15) to be tormented and to experience dying forever but cannot get it accomplished. So, just like Adam and Eve’s choice, each person makes the choice to live forever or die forever; accept salvation or refuse salvation!
(John 5: 24-30 esp. V28-29) “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good (accept salvation), unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil (refuse salvation), unto the resurrection of damnation.” (Rom. 8:6-17 esp. V.7 keyword: carnal: defined: unregenerate) God sends each person WHERE THAT PERSON HAS CHOSEN TO GO!
You already know all these things about your life: You know what you have done and how you have lived. You know something is missing and things are just not quite right in your life. What you do not know is there is a God place in you that is empty because; (Col. 1:16) you were made by God and for God. God wants you to love Him for who He is and what He is. God is not living in your soul in your God Place and that causes the sense of lacking within you that asks: “There must be more to life than what I’ve got and what I feel.” From that God place comes the need to worship.
People try to fill God’s place with things and, in a sense, people worship pleasing self by entertaining self (god self), by wanting money, possessions, power, popularity, clubs, sports, other people, the list is endless. But the God place will still be empty and you will always want more of whatever it is you are attempting to fill your God place with; but it will never be enough because it is God’s place in you and nothing else can ever fill that place except God.
(Ezek. 33:11) God takes no pleasure that you are lost, (Isa. 45:21-22) it breaks His heart (Joshua 24:15 & Matt. 12:30 then Matt. 11:28-30) but God’s honesty makes Him live by your choice. Being saved brings you an assurance that overrides all disappointment, worry and defeat because you know everything will be alright in the end. (Luke 12:32) It is God’s good pleasure to save you. (James 5:11) God is very pitiful and of tender mercy (Luke 15:10) and God expresses His joy in the presence of His angels when a person accepts the salvation He offers.
Please understand that you are caught right in the middle of God and Satan’s (Rev. 12:9: the Devil’s) war for your eternal soul. (John 14:30) Jesus identified the devil, Satan, as the prince of this world who has nothing to do with Jesus and (2Cor. 4:3-4) he is later identified as the god of this world who tries to, and will, blind your mind to God’s salvation efforts. (Luke 22:3-6, 2Cor. 4:3-4 & Eph. 6:10-18) These scriptures reveal the devil’s method of attack on you, and we Christian’s war with him, are identified and (V.12) he is called a powerful ruler of darkness who deals in spiritual wickedness.
We humans, me, you, all of us, are by nature tuned in to our own thoughts and we think every thought originates within ourselves but they don’t.
EXAMPLE: In our thoughts is where both God’s Holy Spirit and the wicked, unholy devil’s spirit work. Your “thought” comes; “Maybe I ought to go to Church Sunday and see about getting my life straightened out.” and immediately more “thoughts” come concerning reasons not to go to Church; “Maybe I’ll go next Sunday ’cause this Sunday I’ve got to—— OR ’cause this Sunday I want to—— OR this Sunday I’m tired because—– OR this Sunday the game is on OR’s endlessly.
Your first thought came from God’s Holy Spirit invitation to help yourself AND your second thought is from the devil’s unholy spirit suggestion to resist God’s invitation by bringing to your attention the things you already like to do. AND: (Gen. 3:1-7) That is the exact pattern the devil used on Adam and Eve in the beginning, it worked then and it still works today. Your thoughts are the arena in which God and Satan fight their war for your soul (Rev. 20: 10-15 & 21:27) and the one you choose as the winner will be the one with which you will go with into eternity.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: Jesus did not bring a religion. Jesus did not bring a bunch of impossible to keep rules and laws so He can send people to hell for breaking them. The following one sentence paragraph is based on these two scriptures: (Rom. 8:13-17) for non-Jews and (Gal. 4:4-7) for Jews.
(John 14:1-23 esp. V.9, 18 & 23) Jesus brought the offer of an individual, personal relationship with God (1John 4:8 & 16) founded on love because God is love, (Rom. 5:8 & Gal. 2:20) based on love because Jesus loved us enough to die so we can get saved and (all through the New Testament) built on love by keeping our Christian relationship with God alive and well through the Holy Spirit, God’s Holy Word, our own values, attitude, activities, desires and abilities in our growth as a Christian after we get saved.
Normally a seeker of Christ doesn’t know the scriptural process of getting saved. He or she is simply drawn to church and Jesus and they go. They listen to some preaching and teaching about Jesus and salvation. They realize they are lost and they want saved. A time of decision comes. They decide to either accept Jesus as Saviour or refuse Jesus as Saviour. It is obvious they already believe in Jesus if they are willing to pray. They pray and it is done; they are saved. When they get done they are glad to confess that Jesus saved them. It is that simple.
THINK ABOUT IT. (Rev. 20:10-15) Start going to a God given church, accept God’s salvation, have your name (V.15) written in God’s Book of Life then (Rev. 21:1 thru 22:5) and (Rev. 21:4) “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
