Example of Christians Who Did Not Endure and Overcome
(Rom. 1:1-32) (V.6-7 keywords: called of Jesus Christ, beloved of God, called to be saints) This scripture is written to people who were called by Jesus and they are the beloved of God, so it is written to the church at Rome. (V.21) They knew God and the only way to accomplish that (Rom. 8:9 keywords: Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. & 15-17 <-read these and think: it is an I know so salvation!) What benefit would salvation be if you had to guess at it? (Eph. 1:13-14) A Christian receives the Holy Spirit at salvation, so these people in the church at Rome were Christians.
Some foolish and unlearned preachers and teachers preach and teach these sinful people were not Christians. If you say; “Well they had to be Christians because they had the Holy Spirit.” They will invariably say; “People in the Old Testament had the Holy Spirit too!” Ask them to show you that in the Bible. They cannot because it isn’t there. A few prophets and a king or two were visited by various messenger angels and sometimes by God Himself to bring instructions or prophecies but they (the Jews) were never inhabited permanently by any of these messengers (Acts 2:1-4, Rom. 8:9 & Eph. 1:13-14) the way Christians are permanently inhabited by the Holy Spirit.
(V.21) But some of them didn’t glorify God, were not thankful to Him, “became vain (empty, foolish, wicked, idolatrous) in their imaginations (internal consideration, external debate, dispute, doubtful reasoning, thought) and their foolish (unintelligent, without understanding) hearts were darkened“(dimness, obscurity). (2Cor. 4:4 keyword: blinded & 11:13-15 keywords: angel of light; speaking; “Its OK!”, Eph. 6:11-12 keywords: rulers of the darkness of this world and 1Pet. 5:8 keyword: adversary) And Satan was helping them magnify the physical while he was attempting to blind them and destroy them spiritually.
(V.22-27 esp. V.24 & 26 keywords: gave them up) (V.22 keyword: fools) God called these people fools! These Christians in the church at Rome ventured further and further into sin. Surely you can see God’s reluctance as He, through the Holy Spirit and His word, fought a losing battle (gave them up) to draw these apostate Christians back from their sins and into a correct relationship with Him.
(V.28) They didn’t like what God was telling them, they wanted the physical and emotional sensations their (V.26-27) unnatural (against nature) homosexual sins brought them, they didn’t want to retain Him in their knowledge and they refused His offer to repent so He could give them forgiveness.
Either for good or evil (Gen. 2:16-17, Josh. 24:14-15 keyword: choose, John 3:16 keywords: whosoever believeth and 6:66 keywords: disciples went back, and walked no more with him) God will always respect man’s God given right to make choices. How can an evil person serve a holy God? (2Cor. 6:17-18 & 1Pet. 1:16-19) They cannot! SO: (V.28) “God gave them over to a reprobate (rejected, castaway) mind (soul)”. They had gone too far into sin. That’s when the Holy Spirit, the presence of God within them, left and it was over. (Heb. 6:4-6 keyword: impossible) Satan was successful; he had helped them destroy themselves spiritually and it was impossible for them to come back to God!
(V.29-31 esp. V.31 keyword: covenantbreakers) A list of their sins are given and one is that they are covenantbreakers. Some foolish teachers say; “God doesn’t break covenant.” I agree with that much of it, God does not break covenant (V.31) but here God said man does break covenant. If a covenant is broken, it is broken. Duhhhh!
(V.21) Foolish teachers will say; these people had never accepted salvation but here God said; “when they knew God”. (V.32 keywords: worthy of death) Foolish teachers also say; “Well, after you’ve sinned enough all that will happen is that God will let you die and take you on to heaven.” (1Cor. 8:9-12 esp. V.12 keywords: ye sin against Christ) God said if you cause your weak brother to sin (V.11) you can cause him to perish (destroy fully) and ye sin against Christ. Christians can go to hell!
(Ezek. 33:7-9) God will require a wicked man’s blood at a Christian’s hand if we don’t warn the wicked from his way (Matt. 25:30) and Jesus will cast an unprofitable servant into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
NOTE: I just realized something unusual. With nothing in mind other than continuing with PART 33, THYATIRA, Section 2; I wrote the above on Saturday morning, 6-27-15, the day after America’s vaunted Supreme Court declared same sex marriage legal in all 50 states on Friday, 6-26-15. Our president praised their decision calling it a victory for America. (Lev. 18:22 & 20:13 then Rom. 1:24-28 and 1Cor. 6:9 keywords: effeminate: defined: a catamite: defined: a boy kept for homosexual practices & abusers of themselves with mankind: defined: a sodomite, from the Revised Standard Bible: “sexual perverts“) (1Chron. 21:1-13 esp V.1-5) Satan can make you feel victorious when you rebel against God’s Holy Word!
He also gave an impassioned eulogy at the funeral of my Brother in Jesus, Clementa Pinckney, an African American Christian pastor, murdered in his church along with 8 of his African American congregants, my brothers and sisters in Jesus, while teaching a Bible study class, by a hate mongering, white supremacist bigot. In that eulogy President Obama led in the singing of Amazing Grace. He also stated he felt fearless and liberated. (John 8:44 keywords: Ye are of your father the devil) Satan can make you feel liberated with pretend Religiosity! END OF NOTE.
Jesus said; (Matt. 15:7-9) “Ye hypocrites (an actor under an assumed character, one who engages in hypocrisy), well did Esias prophesy of you saying, this people draweth nigh unto me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Jesus is saying; Just because you make it legal don’t make it right.
CAN A CHRISTIAN BE SENT TO HELL FOR HIS SINS
(Rev. 2:18-29) The vision of the church at Thyatira focuses mainly on (V.19 & 26) Christian works, (V.20-23) sinful works, (V.24, 25 & 26-29) judgment of Christians (V.20-23 keyword: children: defined: as produced) and judgment of sinful, apostate Christians.
(Heb. 6:4-6) “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened (make to see), and have tasted (to experience) of the heavenly gift (present), and were made partakers (a measure, implying a limited portion) of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers (strength, miracle) of the world to come, If they shall fall (to apostatize) away (exclude), to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” (Heb. 6:4-6) This scripture should make any Christian understand a Christian can backslide. Somehow it doesn’t; usually because they have ignorant preachers and teachers and everybody likes the easy way.
(Luke 4:2-13) When Satan tried to destroy Jesus (V. 3-4) he tempted Jesus’ bodily needs (hunger) and the possibility that Jesus could have pride or doubt. Jesus resisted and defeated the 1st temptation on the basis of scripture. (V.5-7) Then Satan tried to buy Jesus with the things of the world. Can you imagine the power, pomp, wealth, harems, debauchery and sin he showed Jesus. Satan told the truth. Satan does own all those kingdoms because man founded them on the principals of rebellion against God and Satan is spiritually the author and owner of them.
(V.9-12) Compare (Psa. 91:11-12) to (V.10-11) and you can see how Satan the devil twisted the scripture from God’s promise of protection in a way that Satan’s version would cause Jesus to commit suicide, by causing Jesus to show off (pride) and tempt (to test God) God (Deut. 6:16) which is a violation of the Law (Matt. 5:17) Jesus had come to fulfill.
(Psa. 91:1-16) God promises His protection upon (V.14) those who have set their love on Him, know Him and depend on Him (V.1-16) and God extends his protection against unforeseen danger and calamity that is beyond the individual’s control. God’s promise in His word is all the proof that is needed. For an individual to deliberately go into a life-threatening situation to show off (pride) that he is God’s man is sin.
(Prov. 6:16 keyword- hate –19) (V.16) “These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination (Strong’s #8441, Hebrew: something disgusting, an abhorrence, especially idolatry or an idol, abominable custom or thing) unto him: (Strong’s #8130, Hebrew: to hate personally, enemy, foe, odious): yea, seven are an abomination unto him. (V.17) A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood (abortion is one way to shed the most innocent blood of all), (V.18) An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, (V.19) A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” If you have questions about abortion see the first ten verses in the homepage of this website.
The spiritual church and physical Israel are the only kingdoms Satan does not own and that’s why he so badly wants to physically destroy Israel and spiritually subvert the church into self destruction. (John 12:31, Eph. 2:2 & 6:12) Satan is referred to as the prince of this world (2Cor 4:4) and is the god of this world (2Cor. 4:4 & Eph. 6:12) the prince of darkness (spiritual blinding or blindness). SO: Satan could have given the kingdoms of this world to Jesus. (V.8) But Jesus, according to His values, went straight to the word of God and used that word to resist and defeat the 2nd temptation in His battle with Satan.
AGAIN: (V.9-13) In the 3rd temptation Satan used scripture to tempt Jesus to display pride (show off, brag, vain display, invite admiration) by jumping off the temple. God said; (Psa. 91:11-12) “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Satan said; (Luke 4:10-11) “For it is written; He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee*—-: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest **at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
#1) —-Satan left out *“in all thy ways” and added **”at any time“. #2) Satan said; “And in their hands they shall bear thee up” but God had said; “They shall bear thee up in their hands”. Think about it, #1) **”at any time” changes the whole concept of the scripture! (V.12) Jesus said: “It is said, Thou shalt not tempt (to test thoroughly) the Lord thy God.”
This event is an example. Satan tested Jesus’ physical hunger. Satan tested Jesus emotionally for pride, doubt and lust. Satan tested Jesus mentally for confusion and Satan tested Jesus spiritually to try to get Him to tempt God. If he can, Satan will subtract from God’s word, add to God’s word, take God’s word out of context and he will create doubt as to what God said. Jesus was tested physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually! Expect no less for yourself.
Man’s ignorance, pride, stubbornness and narrow mindedness MIXED with (2Cor. 11:13-14) Satan’s ability to deceive man’s understanding of the scripture (1Cor. 1:11-13 & 3:1-5) results in church disagreements, quarrels and church splits and sometimes denominations are the result. (Gal. 5:13-21) Sins That Christians Can and Do Commit
(Gal. 5:13 keyword: brethren) The people in this scripture are called brethren so these following scriptures are written to Christians. (Gal. 5:17-21) These scriptures to Christians show that if they which do such things (V.21) “shall not inherit the kingdom of God” Where else is there to go but hell?
(V.17) “For the flesh (physical cravings catered to and directed by human nature with its frailties and passions) lusteth (covet and desire) against the Spirit (Holy Spirit), and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary (opposite, to oppose) the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would (expressing a desire or inclination).”
Written again using the underlined and italicized definitions to enhance understanding: (V.17) “For the physical cravings catered to and directed by human nature with its frailties and passions covets and desires are against the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are opposite and they oppose the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye desire and are inclined to do. The Holy Spirit fights against what the carnal (flesh) part of a Christian soul wants to do!
(V.18) “But if ye are led of the Spirit (only Christians are led by the Spirit), ye are not under the law.” This is a reminder to the Christian Jews that once they accept salvation through Jesus (Gal. 2:16-21 & 3:24) they are no longer under the Jewish Law of works for self-justification that was, in reality a “schoolmaster” to bring the Jews to the realization they are in a spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. As stated before a few Old Testament kings and prophets were visited by angelic messengers and sometimes by God (John 14:9-23, Acts 2:1-4 & Rom. 8:9-16) but none (nobody in the O.T.) were inhabited permanently by God through the Holy Spirit. If anyone disagrees ask them to prove it to you by showing you proof in the scripture. They cannot!
(V.19) “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;” Each of these sins named in this set of scriptural verses is a sin of attitude: defined: (a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something that is reflected in a person’s behavior). To settle into a way of thinking is the result of a process of thinking about it, reasoning about it, justifying it, then physically performing it.
Can you see Satan in their proceeding into sin (2Cor. 4:4 keyword: hath blinded) by blinding them to God’s truth (2Cor. 11:13-15 keywords: Satan the angel of light) and making the violation of God’s word seem right? (2Cor. 11:13-15 esp. V.13 keywords: false apostles, deceitful workers & V.15 keywords: his- Satan’s- ministers) And Satan had his own false apostles, deceitful workers and ministers to help them on their way (2Cor. 11:15 keywords: whose end shall be according to their works) into apostasy (see internet definition) in which they abandoned God’s word!
CONCERNING THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH: IT IS ONE OF SATAN’S TRIED AND TRUE METHODS TO CAUSE MAN TO DESTROY HIMSELF. (Gen. 3:1-6) IT WORKED ON EVE AND ADAM AND THEY VIOLATED GOD’S WORD! (Job 1:1 thru 2:10 esp. V.9 keywords: curse God and die) SATAN’S METHOD FAILED ON JOB BECAUSE JOB HELD TRUE TO GOD AND HIS WORD but JOB’S WIFE WAS ON SATAN’S SIDE. THE GREAT LESSON LEARNED IS THAT, EVEN THOUGH HE IS AN ANGEL, SATAN CANNOT KILL US BUT HE CAN CAUSE US TO KILL OURSELVES WHEN WE ABANDON GOD’S WORD! THINK ABOUT IT AND BE WARNED!!

V.7 keywords: thou art the man & V.9 keywords: commandment of the Lord) and if you wonder about (2Sam. 12:6) how God let David set David’s own sentence; “And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this this thing, and because he had no pity.” just keep reading the chapters past Chapter 12 and you will see what happened to David’s four adult children. The great hidden message here is people pass their sins on to their children. If you are still not convinced (Rev. 20:10-15 esp. V.12-13 keywords in both: according to their works) a time will come when (Rev. 21:1-27 esp. V.8-9 & 21) you will be!
More about (V.19): (Rom. 1:6-32) This scripture is the perfect example of how Christians can settle into a way of thinking that is wrong. (V.6-7) To the church, (V.18 keywords: who hold the truth in unrighteousness) God’s warning to not violate the truth of His word, (19-20 esp. V.20 keywords: manifest in them) the Holy Spirit had given them the knowledge of God’s plan all the way back to creation, (V.21 keywords: when they knew God <- reference (John 14:23, 1Cor. 6:8-20 & Eph. 2:22 & imaginations: defined: discussion, consideration, debate, reasoning, thought) the settling (to reach an agreement) had started among some of the Christians in the church at Rome, (V.22-27) they went ever deeper into sin (V.28) until they did not care what God said and God turned them over to a reprobate (rejected castaway) mind (soul) the Holy Spirit left them (Heb. 6:4-6) and he would never return. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM AND DO NOT FOLLOW THAT BELIEF BECAUSE (2Cor. 11:4 then 12-15 Eph. 6:11-12, 1Pet. 5:8 keywords: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” key: when a lion devours it’s prey it becomes part of the lions strength just like Christians can become part of the devil’s strength when he deceives them into perverting God’s word) THAT IS A FALSE TEACHING AND BELIEF. HERE’S HOW:
(Rev. 1:19 keywords: hast seen: past, which are: present, which shall be: future) This covers the whole spectrum of the ‘Church Age’= (Acts Ch. 1-2) from the founding (beginning) of the church (Thess. 4:1-18 esp. 13-18 esp. V.17 keywords: caught up) to the ending of the church as we know it. (Rev. 1:20 Key: Jesus said the churches are candlesticks and 2:1-6 esp. V.6 keywords: I will come to unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick) Remove a whole church? YES! WHY?
(Rev. 2:1-6) (V.4 keywords: thou hast left thy first love. And V.5 “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.“) THE WORKS WE DO FOR JESUS ARE THE MEASURE OF OUR LOVE FOR HIM. WORKS?? A whole lot of somebodies did a tremendous amount of works to get (Acts 2:1-31) the church from its beginning to you wherever you are! THINK ABOUT IT then research the internet and read all the internet information you can find about the underground church especially the book Tortured For Christ.
From 4 paragraphs above: “and Jesus cannot or will not take their name out of the book of life” They are liars and they have called Jesus a liar BECAUSE (Rev. 3:5 keyword: blot: defined: Strong’s #1813: to smear out, obliterate) Jesus said He could and would blot a name out of the book of life. (Rev. 3:16 keyword: spue: defined: projectile vomiting) Do you think Jesus is going to vomit out lukewarm Christians, who make Him sick to His stomach, on some back corner of heaven to stink and rot there? (Prov. 6:16 esp. V.17 & 19) Liars are an abomination to the Lord (Rev.21:9 keyword: liars & 27 keyword: maketh a lie) and all liars will go to the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.
(John 1:1-4 & 1John 1:1-4 then 2Tim. 3:16) Jesus is the living word of God. You can’t chop it up and cherry pick certain scriptures to apply to something. EXAMPLE: Certain ignorant teachers and preachers of the once in grace always in grace regardless of sin and works persuasion say Paul’s efforts to bring new Jewish Christians out from under the dead law of works means the church is under grace and we don’t have to do works unless we want to. As has been proven, that is a lie! (John 14:1-6 esp. V.6 keyword: truth) Jesus is truth itself, perfect truth, living truth. Regarding liars (Heb. 4:14-16) Jesus has a throne of grace where even liars can “obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.“
(Rev. 22:18-19) (V.18) “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of this prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: (V.19) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy City, and from the things which are written in this book.” You of the once in grace always in grace regardless of sin or works HAVE BEEN WARNED BY GOD!
See the internet Strong’s complete Biblical definition of fruit as it is used in John 15:2,4,5 above: It is: “1) the fruit of the trees, vines, the fields. 1b) the fruit of one’s loins, i.e. his progeny, his posterity. 2) that which originates or comes from something, an effect, result. 2a) work, act, deed. 2b) advantage, profit, utility. 2c) praises, which are presented to God as a thank offering. 2d) to gather fruit (i.e. a reaped harvest) into life eternal (as into a granary), is used in figurative discourse of those who by their labours have fitted souls to obtain eternal life.” END OF NOTE.
BACK TO (V.19) 15 paragraphs above in (Gal. 5:13-21): Definitions: Fornication is defined as any Biblically unsanctioned physical sexual act and spiritual fornication is idolatry (to love someone or something more than one loves God). Adultery is defined as physically violating marriage vows and spiritual adultery is to be spiritually apostate (Strong’s #646: defection from truth, falling away, forsake, something separative from a religious belief and commitment: (John 1:29 keyword: Lamb, Rev. 19:7 keywords: marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready)
Adultery; (Matt. 19:9) Jesus explains adultery: A man and woman are married. If either of them has sex with someone outside their marriage (fornication) the other can divorce them. If the one who has committed the fornication gets married again they have committed adultery and whoever marries them also commits adultery.
Jesus said; (Matt. 5:28) “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” People will argue about this one until they are all red in the face and sweaty under their arms BUT the plain truth is “Christian man or woman, put those thoughts away from you, don’t flirt, don’t send signals with your body, don’t use your eyes to invite or eye strip the clothes from another, and don’t let your thoughts dwell on the possibilities of sex because it is sin. Your soul uses your brain to think so sin starts in your soul! Busy yourself making your spouse happy, you married each other for some reason so work on that!
Fornication (from the Greek word porneia which is the Greek origin of the English word pornographic); any Biblically unlawful sex act- of either sex- outside of Biblically sanctioned marriage; it also means to practice idolatry.
Uncleanness; moral impurity in thought or sentiment that defiles; example; (Matt. 5:27-28) lust toward a member of the opposite sex. Do you have any pornography? Better think it over, its between God and you. How do the ladies dress in your church? Who looks?
Lasciviousness; vulgar words, wantonness, shamelessness in dress, manner and indecent bodily movements intended to incite lust in another. What kind of body language and eye expression signals do the men and women use in your church?
(V.20) Idolatry; image (heathen god) worship, worshipping or loving or being dedicated to a person, place or thing more than you are to God. Spiritual idolatry means emotionally attached to a person, place or thing more than you are to God.
Witchcraft; is the Greek word pharmakeia which is defined as medication, a spell giving potion, and by extension it means magic, sorcery. Also the Greek word pharmakon is defined as a druggist, a pharmacist, a poisoner, and by extension it means a magician or sorcerer. Pharmakeia is the source word for the English word pharmaceutical. Abusing drugs to become intoxicated (poisoned) and chemically alter ones perception of reality is witchcraft. God considers drug abuse to be witchcraft!
The word witch is not used in the N.T. but in the O.T. (Ex. 22:18 & Deut. 18:9-12) Witch; is the Hebrew word kashshaph and is defined: to whisper a spell, enchant, practice magic, a sorcerer. Sorcery is the practice of claiming to exercise supernatural powers through the aid of evil spirits and black magic. Satan loves this one because it opens the door to your soul for him and he walks right in!
Some people use the term “white witch” to determine good and evil witchcraft. A person who performs “white witchcraft” tunes self into nature and worships Mother nature, the Earth goddess, cycles of the year, the elements of the Earth, plants, trees and etc. to do their spell casting work. Idolatry is the worship of a person, place or thing rather than or more than God. Witchcraft of either kind is Devil worship and idolatry.
Hatred; hostility, enmity, to hate; You will be shocked if you read the various degrees of intensity in hatred but it will help you in your Christian walk with God. Any degree of hatred, despising and etc., is not love and Jesus said; (Matt. 5:44-48) “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:” Many Christians have a grudge (enmity) against someone in their own congregation. Think about it!
Variance; quarrel, wrangling, contention, strife. Just think what goes on in church business meetings, pastor elections, doctrinal disputes and etc. Just think how Christians act outside the church in union meetings, their club, fender benders, job meetings or disputes. The list is endless.
Emulations; indignation, jealousy, envy.
Wrath; fierce anger, resentful indignation, deeply resentful. Christians really run their mouths under the influence of these 3 things. You can take your words back with a thousand apologies but you can’t take back the hurt (an emotion) you caused with your words and that emotion will define their opinion of you.
Strife; contention, intrigue, conflict, bitter disagreement.
Seditions; disunion, dissension, division.
Heresies; disunion, a sect, to take for oneself.

Murders; to slay, slaughter. Physical murder: Read about the great slaughter in the wars between the Catholics and Protestants on this commentary. Spiritual Murder: Young and weak Christians are eternally murdered all the time by apostate Christians, preachers and teachers, (Rom. 14:13-15) by trouble and sin in church by Christians and hatred for other Christians right in church. (1John 3:14-15) Is there any Christian you can’t look in the eye and truthfully say; “I love you” or one that you don’t care if they make it to heaven or not? God may judge you a murderer if you won’t. See what I mean? It happens all the time!
Drunkenness; intoxication- toxic poisoning. In the definition of witchcraft above part of the definition is poisoner. Mind altering drugs and alcohol poison the brain by altering its function to obtain the desired high. Drunks and druggies always cause other people pain, worry and sorrow!
Revellings; a carousal- a noisy, unrestrained, rowdy, boisterous, or drunken feast, party, or social gathering; letting loose, rioting.

God said about the sins listed above: (V.21) “and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in times past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Hell is the only place left because death makes sure there’s no 3rd choice!

Here Is A Second List Of Sins Christians Can And Do Commit
(V.8) “Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that to your brethren (written to the church). (V.9) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither, a list of sins is given, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Fornicators; Idolaters; Adulterers; Drunkards; (these 4 were addressed above)
Effeminate; a catamite, which is defined as a boy or youth kept for homosexual purposes.
Abusers of themselves with mankind; definitions: abusers (a sodomite, to defile self). It is obvious where this is going (2Tim. 3:16) SO, just let God’s word talk; (Rom. 1:21-32) (V.23) idolatry, (V.24-25) fornication, (V.26) female homosexual practices, (V.27) male homosexual practices, (V.28) God gave these Christians over to a reprobate (rejected, castaway) mind (soul).
(V.10) nor Thieves; a stealer, a person who steals another person’s property by stealth.
Covetous; #1) desiring more things, #2) eager for gain, #3) avaricious- having or showing extreme greed for wealth or material gain. Do you have any like that in your congregation? Your family? Your home?
Revilers; abusive, a blackguard- one who behaves in a dishonorable or contemptible way, to abuse or disparage someone
Extortioners; rapacious- aggressively greedy or grasping, to take for one’s self.
(V.9) Be not deceived: neither (those who commit the above sins) shall inherit the kingdom of God.” Christians who practice the above sins will not inherit the kingdom of God (Rev. 20:10-15) and the only place left is hell and after that the lake of fire forever.

(Col. 3:1-9 then V.25)
(V.1) “If ye then be risen with Christ (John 3:3-7 & 1Pet 1:23 spiritually born again; 2Cor. 5:17-19 a new creature- creation- in Christ; Rom. 6:4 baptism), seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God (Heb. 4:14-16 Jesus is our great high priest in heaven, 1John 1:7 thru 2:first 8 words of V.2). (V.2) Set your affection (have a sentiment- a feeling of emotion) on things above (Mark 12:30 Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, mind and strength), not on things on the earth (Matt. 16:36 what earthly things are worth going to hell for).
(V.3) For ye (old man of sin) are dead, and your life (new creature in Christ) is hid with Christ in God. (V.4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (V.5) Mortify (deaden, subdue) therefore your members (parts of the body- 1Pet. 2:11 symbolizing fleshly lusts) which are upon the earth;
Fornication; and Uncleanness; were addressed above.
Inordinate affection; passionate lust for something.
Evil Concupiscence; evil is (depraved, bad, wicked) concupiscence is (desire, lust, longing especially for what is forbidden); so Evil Concupiscence is the wicked desire for what is forbidden
Covetousness which is idolatry; covetousness (greediness, desiring more, by implication willing to defraud, take advantage of, extort) which is idolatry (image worship, to desire a person, place or thing more than God).
(V.6) “for which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.” (V.8) But now ye also put off all these;
Anger: violent passion, indignation, vengeance, wrath.
Wrath; same as anger except fierceness is added to the list.
Malice; badness, depravity, malignity, trouble, wickedness.
Blasphemy; (Matt. 12:22-32) Jesus cast a demon out through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Pharisees said Jesus did it by the power of the devil. The Pharisees called the works of the Holy Spirit the devil’s work and Jesus said it was blasphemy which will not be forgiven. Be very, very careful what you say about a Christian who is doing something through the power of the Holy Spirit who guides and inspires him. Blasphemy is to vilify, speak evil of, rail on, to revile, or defame the Holy Spirit and it will not be forgiven.
Filthy communication out of your mouth; vile conversation.
(V.9) Lie not one to another; lie- utter an untruth, deceive by falsehood. Question; what benefit is a liar? You can’t know a liar because he lies about his life in order to look “better or more” than he is. You can’t trust a liar because he is a thief in that he steals the truth. You can’t count on a liar because he may be a no show when a need arises. You can’t make plans with a liar because he may not be there to do his part. You can’t trust what a liar says about someone because they may not be what the liar says they are.
A liar is nothing but a question mark on the scheme of your relationships. A liar is nothing but trouble in your life. (John 8:44) A liar is of the devil who is the father of lying. What benefit is a liar? (Prov. 6:16-19) God hates “a lying tongue” and “a false witness that speaketh lies” (V.16) and they “are an abomination unto him:”.
This verse, (V.25), is the judgment pronounced on (Col. 3:1-9). “But he that doeth wrong (hurt, be an offender, evil doing, unjust, iniquity, unrighteousness) shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect (partiality, favoritism) of persons.” Due to His holiness and justice (1Pet. 1:17) God is an impartial Judge.
Here Is A Fourth List Of Sins Christians Can And Do Commit
(Rev. 21:7-8; V.8 will be completed at the end)
(Rev. 21:7-8) The word but at the beginning of (V.8) ties the following sins to Christians.
“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the“ (a list of sins follows) “shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.“
Fearful; timid, by implication faithless
Unbelieving; disbelieving, untrustworthy
Abominable; detestable, idolatrous
Murderers; criminal, intentional homicide
Whoremongers; a male prostitute, or a fornicator, or a debauchee which is a person addicted to excessive indulgence in sensual pleasure; sensual is defined as gratification of the senses or physical sensations (sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch). Gratification of the senses is the emotion of pleasure gained from the satisfaction of a physical desire. (2Tim. 3:4 & Heb. 11:25 keywords: pleasures of sin for a season) Sin is fun until you burn!
Sorcerers; which is translated from the Greek word pharmakeus which means a drug, a spell giving potion; and includes the Greek word pharmakon which means a druggist, pharmacist or poisoner; and by extension it means a magician; just like the definition of witchcraft. Alcohol has a chemical number identity just like heroine, marijuana, crystal meth and all other brain chemistry altering drugs. Alcohol is just another drug.
DRUG ABUSE (Mal. 3:6 keywords: God does not change.)
NOTE: Before we go any further the above scripture needs explained. God does not change His personality and values. (Jer. 26:1-7) He changes His behavior, based on His personality and values, when people change their behavior. Behavior defined is how one acts or conducts oneself toward others.
THINK ABOUT THIS: Intoxicate is to kill by toxic poisoning. Drugs kill bacteria and viruses. Drugs kill disease. Drugs kill depression, anxiety, bi-polar and etc., drugs kill emotion. Drugs kill pain by altering brain chemistry. Abuse of brain chemistry altering hallucinogenic drugs intoxicate and kill brain cells by toxic brain cell poisoning.
A common phrase, drug burn out, in the description of drug abusers illustrates a damaged brain that results in impaired brain function commonly called druggie brain cell burn out. X-ray imaging shows atrophy, shrinking and shriveling of the brain due to dead brain cells.
Drug abuse will send a Christian to hell! If you have had your eyes open you will see that every congregation occasionally loses members, especially young people, due to drug abuse. I knew a pastor who was on fire for God, I liked his preaching, many people were saved under his preaching, his church was full every Sunday and many Christians were helped during his ministry.
Then he started dabbling with alcohol, then drugs, he lost his job, he lost his Pastor position, lots of people including his wife and family prayed for him until there was spiritual blood on their words, then he committed suicide. Drug abuse is a destroyer.
Drug abuse destroyed my first marriage. My sons and I were there and watched her engage into a red-hot love affair with the death of love and finally the death of hope. My sons and I were there when our family crumbled like a quail shot out of the air by a hunter’s shotgun blast. My married sons called me late one night at different times from their separate homes and said; “Mom was so high I couldn’t understand a word she was saying.”
Early the next morning I was at my youngest son’s house when he received the call; “Your mother is dead!” I saw his countenance and color change. He is an eight year Marine combat veteran, Iraq, and I held him, a grown man, like I did when he was a small child as he sobbed, shook and trembled in tragic grief.
My sons and I were there when the man she was living with in another state sent the small box of her ashes home to my sons. I saw the sadness, confusion, pain and loss in their eyes. “That’s it! That’s all that’s left of Mom?” You weren’t there, I was, and drug abusers selfishly break the hearts of those who love them.
An owner of several business in this area made the public statement on TV; “I have a hundred job openings and not even one out of twenty applicants can pass the drug test.” Upon questioning I have found every business owner whether large or small faces the same problem.
I am very close to three generations of a large, extended family in my county. I served in Vietnam with one son, different branches of service, my sons went to school with some of their children. My Dad, Mom and I were close to the patriarch and matriarch of them all. I have seen nine members of that beautiful family, my friends, die of drug overdose. There is not one single family in this area who has not been somehow terribly affected by drug abuse.
Who pays for the drug abusers huge medical costs for overdose emergency room and intensive care costs? Who pays for their cell phone, food, rent, entertainment and all that? Who pays the hospital costs for their STD’s (sexually transmitted diseases) and pitiful, sickly babies born with drug withdrawal symptoms? Who pays for the surrogate parents to raise their pitifully neglected, abused and sometimes physically and mentally handicapped children?
“Da gubbermint pays my bills man!” Sure it does! Sure it does! The government doesn’t have any money except the tax revenue it collects from tax payers who work for a living, you know; your family, friends, neighbors and fellow citizens! Drug abusers are insensitive leeches sucking the blood from the lives of working people’s own families.
My daughter in law is a school teacher. Listen to her cry when she tells stories of her students year after year; stories of confused, angry, troubled, neglected, abused little 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders who are being reared by doddering 60, 75, 80 and even 90 year old grandmothers and great grandmothers who don’t understand computer technology used in schools and can’t help their wards.
Drug abuse is betrayal; those old grandmothers have been betrayed by their daughters and granddaughters who have betrayed their own children while they poke their future up their noses or into their veins. Get your head out of the sand and go look and involve yourself with them; get a firsthand look at reality. Drug abusers are selfish betrayers!
The population of our county is around 20,000 people. I went to school with Don, he was my friend. He was a wild, brawling, fornicating man who started taking and pushing drugs. He and his girlfriend moved to my Mom and Dad’s neighborhood and Don and I reconnected. Once Don told me; “Jim, its amazing, I could make a call and go have sex with my choice of any one of a dozen women for a single pill.” I witnessed to him for several years. (John 6:44 & 12:32 keyword in both: draw) God had spiritually gotten into the situation and started His process of drawing Don toward Him, lots of people call God’s drawing “conviction or conviction of his sins” and it is.
(Gen. 3:6-13 esp. V.7 & 10-13 key thought: I’ll hide my sins OR I’ll blame somebody else) Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and their nature was changed to a carnal (unregenerate, human nature with its frailties and passions) nature and that was handed down to all of humanity. It is very obvious that it shows itself as soon as a child realizes that things have value; “lie, cheat or steal” to get what it wants then lie or shift the blame it gets caught. Self justification started in Eden and that’s what Don started and I was delighted. He quit selling and taking drugs and God’s pressure (drawing) did not abate. I stood with Don and his girlfriend, a backslid Christian, when they were married and God’s drawing intensified.
You must understand that Don was following God’s drawing, God knew he was and He gave Don exactly what he needed to keep following God’s drawing. God intimately knows each person’s personality. God is fair and He will not force anyone to accept salvation but God will give each of us the amount of drawing that fits our personality. God is fair and anyone can stop following God’s drawing if they don’t want salvation (2Pet. 3:9 keyword: longsuffering) and God will sadly watch them go on through their life (Rev.20:11-15) and on to hell! Don realized his efforts were having no effect and he and his wife started going to church and somewhere along the way his wife repented and rededicated her life to God.
Then one Sunday Don went to the altar and God saved him! I wish you could have seen my friend Don, a huge man, the former pusher, when he got saved; he was overjoyed, beyond being delighted, he twirled and shouted, hugged people and danced a fair jig of joy then yelled ; “I want baptized right now!” He was stepping down into the baptistry and suddenly came to a dead stop; “Here, hold my pistol.”, pulled it out of his pocket and handed it to one of the baptism observers who took it outside until church was over! The last time I talked with my friend Don, my friend and blood (Jesus’ blood) brother (John 20:28-29) he was still fiercely and lovingly loyal to his Lord and His God. BUT:
The courthouse news section of the local newspaper is always full of drug related cases. Nearly weekly the front page has the pictures of drug sellers, impaired drivers, impaired shoplifters and all kinds of impaired crimes including child abuse.
I know several families who have had to change the locks on their doors to prevent their drug addicted adult children from stealing their possessions to buy drugs. Some can’t even leave their homes because their children have broken windows or doors to steal for drug money. Drug abusers are thieves, heart breakers and sometimes prostitutes!
Drug abuse is destroying parts of whole generations of Americans. The drug trade would be easy to curtail. Create special laws like the RICO laws were created against organized crime. God believes in punishment. I do too. (Ex. 22:18 keywords: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live) Issue a six-month grace period with warning to stop because these laws will go into effect at the end of six months.
If found guilty drug pushers get an automatic death sentence whether it is a high society lawyer or doctor right on down to the single pill or single “hit” seller on the street. The current, stupid appeal process is cut to four years. Hire all the lawyers needed. (Rev. 9:21 keyword: repented) In the last two years of their sentence make available whatever religious representative of their choice so they can have the opportunity to repent. Then carry out the death sentence.
The argument over cruel and unusual punishment by America’s intelligentsia is a joke. I’ve had a drastic surgery under heavy anesthesia and I wouldn’t have known it had the surgeon sawed off my head with a dull paring knife. Put the prisoner under heavy sedation, shoot him through the brain with an electronically operated four inch long, one inch diameter steel rod and the job is done. Use five, even twenty, executioners that push five, even twenty, activator buttons but only an unknown two executioners will activate the electronic device. That way each executioner will have his relief if he ever feels personally guilty.
(Prov. 13:24 keywords: spareth the rod hateth his son) Druggies and drunks caught intoxicated in public get 5 strokes with a limber cane rod in the county courthouse square, open to the public, on the next Saturday morning. Next offense 10 strokes, 15 the next and so on. If drugs abuse is worth dying for then so be it, it’s their choice. Young people wouldn’t be so anxious to try drugs. If the liberals don’t like it tell them not to look. If protesters show up lock them up or give them citations requiring a $100.00 fine; it’s the law of the land!
Nations who supply drugs to America are put on notice. You stop the flow of drugs into our nation or we will. We will send our clandestine soldiers into your nation. They will pinpoint the drug organizations. Our military will destroy them with drones starting with the cartel leaders.
“Kill our citizens! You can’t do that! We are a sovereign nation!” “We are too and you are killing our citizens so stop it or we will stop it ourselves and don’t you forget we are nuclear armed! We are declaring a real war on drugs!” The drug trade would screech to a halt.
LIBERAL CHRISTIANS (Mal. 3:6 God does not change)
THINK ABOUT THIS. (Gen. 19:1-29 esp. V.14 keywords: sons in law) Lot and his family were Abraham’s blood kin relatives, they were considered children of the covenant because God offered them a way to escape the fire coming to Sodom. Lot got the word the end was coming and he went to speak to his sons in law. Message: To be sons in law they had to be in heterosexual married relationships with Lot’s daughters who were blood kin to Abraham.
These blood-kin relatives to Abraham didn’t believe God’s word and by staying there they obviously upheld the Canaanites sexual orientation. (Gen. 19:23-28 esp. V.24 keywords: Sodom and Gomorrah) They burned with the sodomites. (Lev. 18:1-27 esp. V.3 & 24 and 20:1-23 esp. V.23 THEN 2Cor. 5:20 keywords: ambassadors for Christ thru 6:16) Christians are not supposed to uphold sin.
(Luke 1:36-42) John the Baptist was a six-month old fetus in Elizabeth’s womb and he reacted to the just conceived fetus (zygote) of Jesus in Mary’s womb. Recognition, thought, emotion, reaction and physical activity in a 6 month fetus due to stimulus from a zygote, a human. (Luke 17:1-2) Jesus said; “It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should hurt one of these little ones.”
A little one offended: This is graphic because people need to see what they uphold! The baby is in the womb, safe, secure, comfortably floating in his amniotic fluid cushioned world, then suddenly a chemical presence stings him like fire and he flinches and writhes. Almost immediately there is a puncturing, the amniotic fluid rapidly drains away and panic is added to the baby’s burning pain.
Helpless, he still waves his little limbs with their fingers and toes curling from the pain, he moves his tiny human head and his tiny human torso convulses. Cold, cold forceps blindly grasp at him, they are so cold as they touch him in the awful wreckage of his destroyed world.
The cold, hard, metal forceps suddenly pinch and crush his little arm then they are twisted and his arm is torn off. (Prov. 15:3) “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” The tiny, helpless human has fought with all he has for his little life. He has lost his fight and his soundless, piercing screams from his gaping mouth reach heaven.
The little guy is almost dead when the cold, remorseless forceps return, blindly grab his head, crush it and tear it away and the little human body slumps into the stillness of death. The rest of his precious body is torn from his Mother (Mother? you’ve got to be kidding) and discarded into the human tissue medical waste container.
The van that picks up human tissue medical waste collects the container and transports it to the central collection point where human tissue medical waste is incinerated and there the tortured little human body is burned (Lev. 18:21 keywords: pass through the fire to Molech: defined: the Canaanite name for Satan, the devil) exactly like the devil worshipping Canaanites. (Prov. 6:16-19 esp. V.17) (Prov. 6:16-19 esp. V.17) God hates those who shed innocent blood!
(Jer. 19:3-8 esp. V.4 keywords: have filled this place with the blood of innocents and V.5 keywords: to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal) Because of their sin the ten northern tribes that composed Israel had already been overrun, destroyed and the remnant were led into captivity by the Assyrians. Now God passed the death sentence on Jerusalem and Judah because of child sacrifice to Baal by burning their children. Then the Babylonians came. Christians are not supposed to uphold murder. Ask the internet for pictures of aborted fetuses. I dare you!!
Message to the NT church and its Liberal Christians: (2Cor. 5:20 keywords: ambassadors for Christ thru 6:18) (6:1) Christians are workers together with Christ. (V.14-16) “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial (worthless, an epithet of Satan)? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said; I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.“
(V.17-18) “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the lord, and touch (to attach one’s self to, to fasten to) not the unclean (impure, lewd, foul and sometimes demonic- which is to be troubled by and sometimes possessed by a demon) thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” How can a person who condones abortion (shedding innocent blood, murder) be a true Christian in the eyes of a God (Prov. 6:16-17) who hates the shedding of innocent blood?
(Rev. 21:8 keywords: murderers, liars, read the whole list) There are people in churches all over America and the world who sit in church sweetly worshipping God but they will go to hell then the lake of fire! (1Cor. 7:9-10, Gal. 5:13-21 & Col. 3:2-9) READ GOD’S WORD! YOUR ETERNAL LIFE WITH JESUS IS AT STAKE!
(1Pet. 4:17-18) (V.17) “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God (church): and if it first begin at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the gospel (good news) of God?” (V.18) “And if the righteous scarcely (defined: Strong’s #3433: with difficulty, hardly, scarcely, with much work) be saved, where shall the ungodly (irreverent, impious, wicked) and the sinner (defined: Strong’s #264: to miss the mark, to not share the prize, to err) appear?
Do you and/or your church believe homosexuality is a viable Christian lifestyle? Do you and/or your church believe supporting abortion is a viable Christian work? Do you and/or your church even care if they are right or wrong? MORE IMPORTANT; WHAT DOES GOD THINK AND SAY ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY AND ABORTION?
(2Cor. 6:17 three paragraphs above) Do you remember, 3 paragraphs above this one, part of the definition of unclean is: “sometimes demonic- which is to be troubled by and sometimes possessed by a demon”. So, who is operating your church (1Cor. 12:1 thru 13:13 esp. 12:18) the Holy Spirit OR (2Cor. 4:4 & 11:13-15) Satan the unholy spirit (Eph. 6:11-12 keywords: spiritual wickedness) also called the devil OR political correctness through liberal secular humanism?
SECULAR HUMANISM (Mal. 3:6 God does not change)
Actually, the first Greek philosopher was a man named Thales who was a mixed blood Greek and Phoenician (Canaanite). He lived 600 BC and is known as the pre-Socrates founder of philosophy. He lived in Miletus in ancient Asia now called Western Turkey. Miletus was located on the coast of the Aegean Sea, south and west of Ephesus, at the mouth of the Meander River.
Through trade, war, the exchange of false deities and a mixture of various cultures and ideas the Babylonian thought and culture flourished there. Certain historical documents state Thales was influenced by Babylonian thought and culture. Philosophy came straight from Babylon to Greece, to Rome, to Europe, to America.
Basically, philosophy is the effort of the imagination through philosophical speculation (Gen. 3:16-19 the 3 part curse; children, work and death) to reason out and determine how to bring order, without God’s help, to the chaotic souls of an unregenerated humanity. Philosophy is the source of Secular Humanism in which America seeks to legislate, therapize, desensitize, mindfulness promote, tranquillize, sensitivity train- don’t offend anyone, and societal engineer our culture so we can settle our own chaos.
God is a conservative, He has rules. Satan is very liberal, anything goes as long as you don’t bring up anything about Jesus! (John 10:7-11 esp. V.9) Satan hates Jesus’ name because Jesus is the doorway to salvation. Satan’s agenda is to rid society of God the Father of Jesus! God is a Gentleman, He won’t stay where He isn’t wanted.
Devil guided secular humanist America obligingly kicks God out of our schools, forbids God from our government and regulates God out of the public awareness. Then Satan slithers into the vacuum left by God’s departure. Now everybody but fundamentalist Christians wonders why America is drowning in national debt, running from red lines our illustrious government draws in the Middle Eastern sand, making no-win nuclear arms deals, turning against our friendly ally nations, embracing nations that shout; “Death to America”, leaving hostages behind,
opening embassies to nations who harbor American cop killers, abandoning a lonely, beautifully courageous, dying man on top of a building in the Middle East, clutching his empty machine gun, as he guards his dead ambassador (God bless you my Brother), the illustrious, liberal Whitehouse refused crying soldiers for six hours who wanted to come and help him fight, “We’re afraid we might offend them!, losing wars, snowed under, wind torn, burning down, flooding out, dried up and being bombed and shot down by terrorists!
